Our conversation continues with God when we study the Scriptures with others in Sunday School, Classes, & other Groups. By doing so, we learn more about who God is, who we are, what God has done & continues to do to forever transform the world, and the role we are called to play in God’s transformative work. As our relationship with God grows, we also grow as individuals & as a community while learning more about how to live our lives by God’s grace. We are happy to offer a variety of Sunday School Classes, Bible Studies, and other Groups for your enrichment and pray that you will find with us the opportunities that suit you best in order to keep your conversation going with God!

A Word about Classes and Other Groups

Each of our Classes & other Groups offers opportunities for Christian fellowship, growth, and service. Within these groups we forge our deepest Christian friendships, go even deeper in our faith, and strengthen our understanding of how faith practically applies to life.

Adult Sunday School/Small Group on Sundays

Senior Adult Class – The Senior Adult Class dives into scripture with maturity and brings the scriptures to life by exploring different studies. Currently we are diving in to the book of Daniel. Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9:30AM. The class meets in the Reflection Room – a beautiful classroom that invites all to reflect on God’s word and His call on our life.

Adult Groups that meet monthly

Catawba Women’s Group – The Catawba Women’s Group meets every third Tuesday of each month. They are a group of wonderful women who are in ministry to many local missions in and around western North Carolina. All women are welcome to join in at 10:30 AM!

United Methodist Men – The United Methodist Men meet monthly on the first Sunday of the month at 7:30 in the morning. These gentlemen are the first to help those in need! There is no project too big or too small for the men of Catawba. They are all godly men with huge hearts and are great cooks! The Sunday morning time is spent eating a great breakfast, sharing devotionals, finding those who need help. You will see them out and about in our community all the time!
